A new year is stretched out before us full of opportunity, excitement, and anticipation of what is to come. Plans are on county alliance calendars across the state full of wonderful new events, and annual traditional events we look forward to each year. The road ahead looks full of adventure — straightforward and unafraid!
As spouses of physicians, we’ve learned a thing or two about the road ahead. There will be bumps in the road, curves, and potholes. We will encounter forks in the road…do I go left or right? Sometimes the road is a narrow lane; other times, a six-lane freeway with a huge bridge to cross. How we handle the road makes all the difference in the world.
Do I go full speed over the bumps or gently? Do I ask for help, or directions, or just hope for the best? Are you off the blue line and need to proceed to the route?
There is no better place for Alliance members to be than on the road together! This year, gather up your alliance friends and let the road take you to new places you have never been, and then bring you back to your favorite local spot.
I can’t wait to hear about all your adventures as we stay TMA Alliance Proud - Texas Strong!

What The TMA Member Long Term Disability Insurance Plan Includes That Many Policies Don’t
Sponsored Content
The TMA Member Long Term Disability Insurance plan includes many benefits and features that individual policies do not include, unless you add them as costly riders to the base policy. The TMA Member plan is comprehensive and provides valuable benefits not offered in an individual plan. Importantly, members also find it is a significantly more affordable option. More coverage at a lower cost means better value.
Since its launch in 1969, the TMA Member Long Term Disability Insurance plan has been a trusted resource for TMA members – never cancelling or non-renewing a covered member. Over the past 20 years, the Plan has paid more than $137 million in benefits, providing stability when illness or injury impacts a physician’s ability to practice. Find out how members can protect more of their income at any stage of their career.
